Curb appeal is your only chance to make a positive impact on buyers from a street perspective. The positive and negative features that jump out at buyers create their first opinion of your home and how you upkeep house's regular maintenance. Acknowledging this assists us in determining what actions we can take to entice buyers from the street and into your house. If your home isn't attractive on the outside with refreshed paint and bright garden plants we'll need to address those issues. Follow the Curb Appeal Checklist and raise your home's final selling price.

Make yourself at home...
Can buyers picture themselves watching a movie in your living space, reading a good book in your spa tub or hosting a dinner in your dining room? I want your home to welcome buyers and give them a sense of comfort. I'll help you do this by recommending changes that highlight your home's features. I'll advise you eliminate anything that gives the impression of clutter. Tabletops should be clutter-free. Kitschy sculptures, sentimental items, family photos, and refrigerator artwork should get stored away too. You need to "neutralize" the home so buyers can perceive it as their new home.
Every room gets a once-over. Changes that directly affect your dollars include easy-to-fix items like furniture pieces that should get rearranged, rooms that need fresh paint, carpet that needs changing, fixtures that need shining, and windows that need cleaning.
I'll make sure your home has mass appeal and that it's friendly, avoiding "loud" or "too-bright" shades on the walls and furniture. And if you've already moved out, you can consider renting furniture. The goal is for your house to look inviting as opposed to bare.

Setting the Stage
I'll tell you when to show your home, because all of the improvements mesh together to create a picture of what buyers can expect when they consider buying your house. Dark living areas can really dampen a buyer's spirits, so we'll do things like part the curtains and change light bulbs where needed to invite the buyer inside. Together we'll enhance the mood of the house with enjoyable music playing lightly and ensure a delightful fragrance circulates room-to-room. We'll add cozy-looking bedspreads, and throw pillows on your love seat and bedding. Buyers should feel like your home has the potential to be.
